Before joining Coldwell Banker, I was associated with one of Washington's best-known and loved non-profit organizations, was a USG contract employee overseas, did small business consulting, and was a divisional controller for a national leader in the specialty retail market headquartered in Dallas, Texas. I also have a strong sales and marketing background from years working in my family's retail businesses.
I'm a proud Oklahoma native and married to a Texan (but don't hold that against him). We've owned our home in NW D.C. for twenty-five years, and our family looks forward to the day when the District of Columbia will enjoy full representation in congress.    
My background has given me unique insight into what's involved in moving to a new city and even what may be a new culture. During my husband's career with the U.S. State Department, our family lived in six countries from Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean to Eastern and Western Europe. I've thoroughly enjoyed each of the cultures I've lived in, but especially love the people and places of Washington, D.C.
